Bakewell & Horner Estate Agents have just won the British Property Award

Bakewell & Horner have just won the British Property Award for Wallasey, for the third successive year.

Their team performed outstandingly throughout the extensive judging period, which focused on customer service levels.

Bakewell & Horner are now on the shortlist for several national awards. The winners will be announced shortly.

The British Property Awards give agents in the UK a great chance to compare their service. They can see how they stack up against local, regional, and national competitors.

Agents who go the extra mile and give great customer service receive our award. This award shows their skills to the local market.

THE BRITISH PROPERTY AWARDS stand as one of the most inclusive estate agency awards organizers, given their no-entry-fee policy. This approach allows their award to be structured in a way that guarantees extensive participation, typically evaluating over 90% of agents that satisfy their basic criteria at a local level.

The team personally mystery shops every estate agent against a set of 25 criteria to obtain a balanced overview of their customer service levels. The judging criteria is both comnprehenisve and detailed exploring different mediums, scenerios and time periods to ensure that agents have been rigorously and fairly judged.

Robert McLean from The British Property Awards said “Our awards have been specifically designed to be attainable to all agents, removing common barriers to entry, such as cost, to ensure that we have the most inclusive awards.

Our awards have been meticulously crafted with the intention of eliminating any potential for bias or manipulation throughout the selection process. We understand that fairness and transparency are paramount in recognising and honouring outstanding achievements. To achieve this, we have implemented a series of rigorous guidelines and criteria that govern the nomination and evaluation processes.

Firstly, the nomination process is open and accessible to all eligible agents, ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to be considered for an award. We have established clear eligibility requirements and criteria that are communicated transparently to all participants. This allows for a level playing field where merit is the sole determinant of recognition.

Secondly, we have assembled a diverse panel of judges who bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the evaluation process. This panel is carefully selected to represent a wide range of perspectives and backgrounds, which helps to mitigate any individual biases that may arise. Each judge is trained to adhere to strict ethical standards and to evaluate nominees based solely on the established criteria, rather than personal preferences or relationships.

Moreover, we have instituted a blind review process for the evaluation of nominations. This means that judges assess submissions without knowing the identities of the nominees, further reducing the risk of bias. By focusing solely on the merits of each nomination, we ensure that the most deserving individuals are recognized, regardless of their background or affiliations.

In addition to these measures, we regularly review and update our award criteria and processes to reflect best practices in fairness and equity. We actively seek feedback from participants and stakeholders to identify any areas for improvement, demonstrating our commitment to continuous enhancement of the award system.

Ultimately, our goal is to create an awards program that not only celebrates excellence but also upholds the highest standards of integrity and impartiality. By removing opportunities for bias or manipulation, we aim to foster a culture of trust and respect within the community we serve, ensuring that every award presented is a true reflection of outstanding achievement.

attributed with one of our awards, it is simply down to the fantastic customer service levels that they have demonstrated across a prolonged period of time.

Winning agents should be proud that their customer service levels provide a benchmark for their local,

regional and national competition”.
